It's cute enough. Here's a link to the instructional video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLGLum5SyKQ One of the main reasons for watching it is to see how young he is.
Sort of puts me in mind of that old electronic game "Simon," y'know what I'm sayin'?
Um. Well anyway, back onto the topic of new songs (or newish), tonight I watched the series premiere of "10 Things I Hate About You" on ABC Family,
which is based on the movie from 1999. Which itself included a cover of "I Want You To Want Me" by Letters to Cleo, so I thought it was kind of cool
at the end of the episode tonight, there was a cover of that song by KSM. You could listen to that and a few other songs on their website. They seem like a
cool new band. Apparently a Disney band, but definitely better than the kids working for Disney these days...

ah...love I Want You To Want Me...but then I'm from the era when everyone in America seemed to have Cheap Trick at Budokan.
I'm still a Miley fan...I think she's putting out some good age appropriate music. I love that song The Climb (okay...not so new...) and I've heard
her new song with Nick Jonas and it's fine...not so fine I remember the name, but definitely okay.
How are you on Bare Naked Ladies (on Disney the go by BNL)? I find their songs to be exuberant and fun and only occasionally mildly suggestive. I've seen
them in concert and hubby and I are committed to taking the daughter next time they come around because we think, finally, we could all enjoy the same music.
Oh, I've liked Barenaked Ladies for many years. I'm pretty sure they're a Canadian band, I remember seeing them on a Canadian channel once when I
was probably in my teens, and I don't think it was til at least a couple years later that I ever heard them on American radio or TV. I've got at least
a few of their CDs... I think once I saw a video of theirs on Disney, labelled, as you say, BNL. That was funny. But I've never thought of them as being in
any way connected to Disney...
They did the music for one of the Disney movies and a couple of "concerts" air in occasional rotation. I was very confused for awhile because the
kids just talked about BNL...then my daughter explained that Disney wasn't letting them use their name.
The kids just wanted to do the fun dance, they didn't want to know that the song was all about mistreating a woman right after having very anonymous sex
with her (I got it banned at the middle school, much to my daughter's horror).
Uh, your comment is out of place as my comment was not in this thread, or even in this forum. Just as I took my comments and the controversial issue to another
forum, so should you. But for the record, you had written:
"I got it banned at the middle school, much to my daughter's horror."
As noted in the other thread "I broke my arm" does not mean I tried to get my arm broken.
Not that it's a new song, but when I was driving home this afternoon I heard Breathless by the Corrs. Man, that is a good song...what happened to them?
Well, you also mentioned in the other thread that you know how to read. But your writing sometimes leaves much to be desired. You ought to chose your words more carefully so that they won't be
misinterpreted. Instead of saying, "I got the song banned..." you might have said, "The song wound up becoming banned."
So, I've heard this song called "That's Not My Name" a couple of times and I was thinking it was really new....but I guess it's from last
year and I've only just heard it.
There's an old song I always liked in an episode of 3rd Rock from the Sun, in which Harry sang "Life Has Been Good To Me" (which I guess is
originally from Randy Newman's "Faust," though I really know nothing about that). Anyway, I just made an mp3 of Harry singing it, and if
anyone's interested they can download it from my site's review
of the series. I suppose this doesn't really belong in this thread, but I thought I'd share it anyway...
Okay...that is very cute. Though, I'm wondering how the Sesame Street people feel about it...
I've been shamelessly enamored of The Black Eyed Peas "I've got a feeling".....but then, I saw this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXHSdlzLmhs and now, when I hear the song all I can hear is
that dude saying "remind me to scream "Christ is King" next time I'm being propositioned by a tranny hooker..."
I like Jordin Sparks and I think that song is excellent. I have a feeling she will ultimately be the most successful Idol simply because she has been very
smart in her choices.
I've seen youtube remove video's from the 60's for copyright when you can't even buy the tunes anymore Thats ok
though , I use DVDVideoSoft like a few million others and get my tune one way or the other . hehe
